Privacy Policy
At ReviewsGauge, we take the protection of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and services, why we collect it, and the rights you have. Our processing of personal data is subject to applicable data-protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).
The basics
What is personal data? Any information relating to an identified or identifiable person — such as name, email address, postal address or phone number, and online identifiers like IP addresses or device IDs.
Who is responsible? The data controller is ReviewsGauge ([to be confirmed] for the full registered entity name and address). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at contact@reviewsgauge.com.
Legal bases. We process personal data to perform our contract with you, in pursuit of our legitimate interests (security, service development, defending or enforcing claims), where you have given consent, and to comply with legal obligations.
Are you obliged to provide data? You only need to provide the personal data required to establish, carry out and end our business relationship, or that we are legally required to collect.
Data we collect automatically
Log data. Each time you visit, our system records the file accessed, date and time, amount of data transferred, retrieval status, browser type and version, IP address, operating system, your internet service provider, the referring website, and the pages you view. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation.
Hosting. Our site is hosted by Hetzner (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany), which processes inventory, contact, content, usage, meta and communication data on the basis of legitimate interests in efficient and secure provision.
Cookies. We use essential and non-essential (analytics/advertising) cookies. We obtain your consent for non-essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Data you provide to us
Contact. When you contact us we collect your name, email, and the content of your message (which may contain personal data), to handle your request.
Registration. To create an account we collect your full name, username, email and password, to provide the service.
Using our services. When you use ReviewsGauge to manage your own customers’ reviews, you act as the data controller and we act as your data processor under the GDPR. Employee access to your data is strictly need-to-know, logged and audited.
Payments. Purchases are processed by our payment provider Stripe (510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103). Payment data is handled solely by Stripe; we have no access to your card details.
Marketing. Where you have consented, we may send you marketing by email or other channels. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out.
Social media. If you interact with us on social platforms, we and the platform may be joint controllers for that processing.
Who receives your data
Within our organisation, only those who need it to meet contractual and legal obligations have access. We use processors (IT services, telecommunications, sales and marketing) who may receive data for these purposes. We only pass data to third parties where the law permits — for contractual purposes, legitimate interests, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data for the duration of our business relationship and as required by statutory retention obligations — typically between two and six years depending on the document and applicable law — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
How we protect your data
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption and need-to-know access controls. No internet transmission is ever completely secure; if we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected individuals as soon as possible.
International transfers
Where we transfer personal data to other companies for the purposes described here, we put contractual and technical safeguards in place to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Special categories, minors & automated decisions
We do not process special-category data unless necessary for the service and you have given explicit consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children or minors. We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data; to object to processing; to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing); and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first — contact us at contact@reviewsgauge.com. We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy was last updated on 1 July 2026. We may revise it from time to time to reflect legal or business changes; please check back periodically.
